Our newly commissioned 'carrier-neutral' tier2 Data centre at Synergy House has brought a further 7000 sq ft of premium data centre space to our Manchester Head Office Data Centre facilities.  Positioned on Manchester Science Park, the Synergy House Data Centre can provide all your data centre needs.

This 'carrier-neutral' data centre brings 2 floors of high end data centre space with fully redundant power and cooling.  Synergy House is serviced by a fully diverse fibre ring providing a high availability, fully secure facility that welcomes colocation, dedicated severs and fully managed hosting service.

Data Centre Statistics

Power

• Synergy House has its own HV supply and substation enabling the facility to sustain high powered racks required by todays powerful servers
• N+1 Scania Generators can take the full load of the building should a mains power failure occur
• Chloride energy efficient UPS systems provide N+1 uninterruptible power to our racks with a 10 minute autonomy providing power protection from spikes and mains failures

Cooling

• N+1 Airedale HVAC system provides redundant under floor cooling
• The ambient temperature is kept at a constant 22degreesC with 50% humidity
• The FM200 and VESDA systems provide the most efficient non-water based data centre fire detection/suppression system available on the market today
• Synergy House has both FM-200 and VESDA above and below the raised floor, thus giving complete data centre coverage and protection

Security

• A secure door entry control system with swipe card entry gives customer access only to the relevant areas of the Data Centre
• IP based Closed Circuit Television is prevalent throughout the Data Centre with internal and external monitoring stations
• On site 24 x 7 Security

Connectivity

• Synergy House is located on Manchester Science Park which boasts the best available Internet connectivity in Manchester
• The carrier neutral facility is connected via a dark fibre ring with dual entry points into the building
• A great choice of connectivity with tier1 and tier2 bandwidth available plus dark fibre rental available
