ANS Group Plc shows strength with appointment of two new board members

Manchester-based leading technology infrastructure specialist, ANS Group, is celebrating the appointment of Richard Gascoigne and David Hutton to the company's Board. With almost 40 years' experience in the technology and IT industry between them, the newcomers will be responsible for ensuring ANS Group continues with its impressive growth rate, maintains profitability and has best practice procedures in place to support that growth as the company moves forward.

Scott Fletcher, Founder and Director of ANS Group commented:

"David and Richard have joined us at an important time, and we will be calling on their expertise to help us deliver our ambitious plans. Their appointment comes at a time when the general economy is suffering, but at ANS we are still investing and growing.  They bring fresh views and knowledge to the company and we're excited to have them with us as we plan for the future growth and development of the company."

Sales Director, David, is a specialist in business growth and development, having started out in sales for the original word processing software; Word Perfect. After working with a number of start-ups during the 'dot com years', David was instrumental in the development of Notability. He played a key role in its sale to Logicalis in 2005, where he remained to grow the company into one of the largest IBM resellers in the UK.

Operations Director, Richard, began his career as an army technician where he learnt his trade whilst travelling the world as a non-commissioned officer. On leaving the army, Richard moved into IT as a software engineer and technical manager. He has founded a number of successful start-ups, before joining a national software house as the Service Director. Richard will be focussing on developing Best Practice methodologies at ANS Group to support the business' growth.
