The award demonstrates the bank’s commitment to UK SMEs by setting aside up to £35 million of funding, shared equally between the six regional finalists, which is made available interest free for three years.
The North West regional judging panel featured senior figures from Deloitte, Bank of Scotland Corporate and the Sunday Times, plus entrepreneurs Matthew Riley, CEO of Daisy Communications and Derek Mapp, Chairman of Serial Entrepreneur.
Whilst ANS were pipped to the post as overall winners of the award, Fletcher was proud to be named amongst the region’s most successful entrepreneurial businesses:
"2008 has been a fantastic year for ANS, achieving VMware Gold and Cisco Gold as well as being named one of the Fast Track Tech 100 companies. To achieve such an accolade as reaching this shortlist is testament to our achievements and a sign of further success to come.”
