APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR DIRECTORS' SHAREHOLDING

The Board of Associated Network Solutions plc ("ANS"), an independent UK Information Technology solutions provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick O'Connor as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
Patrick has over 25 years experience in the IBM and Novell arena. He has held positions managing IBM's African operations whilst on international assignments in Paris and Rome, and as Channel Sales Director of Novell UK. Patrick spent 5 years as Sales Manager and senior lecturer in the IBM business school, prior to running his own successful Consultancy Practice. The demonstrable track record that Patrick brings to the Board is complementary to the fast growing business of ANS.

Patrick O'Connor has a beneficial interest in 31,000 ordinary shares in ANS. The resultant aggregate Directors' shareholding is 50.9%
