The Directors of ANS Group plc, the Manchester based technology infrastructure specialist, are pleased to announce that Enterprise, the leading support services company, has renewed its contract for network and server infrastructure support.
Following a competitive pitch process Enterprise has reappointed ANS Group to deliver a support contract over the next three years. This contract takes the value of ANS Group's support services contracts to over £3.2m per annum.
Enterprise also awarded ANS Group with the contract to upgrade its Cisco network infrastructure for the creation of a new data centre. As part of this data centre build, the old core Cisco infrastructure will be replaced with 2 new core switches which have the new virtual switching system (VSS) technology from Cisco. Also as part of the contract ANS group will install Cisco's new Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) to optimise the bandwidth between Enterprise's sites.
Paul Sweeney, Managing Director of ANS Group, commented:
"This is a great win for ANS Group, we're delighted to have beaten the competition and renew our relationship with Enterprise. Our support services are very strong. This contract win demonstrates once again the high level of expertise and customer focus within the team and the determination not to let the economic downturn effect ANS Group's performance."
Graham Billsborough, Group IT Director at Enterprise, commented:
"ANS Group is a highly responsive technology partner for Enterprise; we rely on them to keep our systems running within our service levels; bringing an all round technical competence they are especially strong in the support and development of our Cisco systems. The innovative and reliable approach to delivering proactive and flexible services has been a deciding factor in renewing the contract for the next three years".
