Buying Solutions

ANS Group has been awarded a framework agreement by Buying Solutions for Commoditised IT Hardware and Software, Lot 2 - IT Infrastructure Hardware.

What does this mean to you as a customer?

We are pre-approved for Public Sector purchasing within the scope of this Lot. Many suppliers went through an extensive procurement process to identify which are capable of providing best value into the public sector across the UK. ANS was selected as one of thirteen organisations who can provide this under the Framework Agreement. There is no need to run a full EU tender process as the Framework has already been competed through a full OJEU procurement by Buying Solutions.

There are 2 ways you can place orders with us:

1. Providing you can prove best value for money, you can order directly from us via our Catalogue on the Buying Solutions website.

2. If you have a requirement for a more complex solution you can use the "Further Competition" route on the Buying Solutions website. You identify exactly what it is your solution requires, including services and support directly applicable to the hardware, and post your requirement on Lot 2 of the Commoditised IT Hardware & Software framework.

All capable suppliers will be invited to respond. You decide your requirements and the timescales for responses. You then decide which supplier offers the Most Economically Advantageous Tender and then hopefully place business with us.

Using the Buying Solutions framework saves, on average, 77 days and between £85k - £100k per procurement, depending on the complexity of the procurement.
