New Contract Wins
The Board of ANS Group, a leading UK Technology Solutions provider, is pleased to announce that the Group has secured two new significant orders , in the month of March, totaling approximately GBP240,000. The contracts are with Blackburn with Darwen Primary Care Trust (PCT) and Stoke PCT & North Staffordshire PCT.
Blackburn with Darwen PCT
Blackburn with Darwen PCT provides care to local communities across a number of sites in East Lancashire. Their vision is to enable the people of Blackburn with Darwen to “Live Longer, Live Better” by ensuring that local health services are of high quality and are responsive to the needs of individuals and the community.
In order to achieve greater efficiencies, Blackburn with Darwen PCT has sought a platform to initially support the file/print data, and to easily provide storage for future primary applications. ANS Group are providing a solution which has the ability to replicate data for disaster recovery and allows for a 24 hour backup window without any negative impact on service.

Stoke and North Staffordshire PCT’s are a provider of services to people with mental health and complex learning disability needs. The Trust operates from more than 30 different facilities across North Staffordshire.
ANS Group has been contracted by the Trusts to provide the Cisco Unified Application Environment (CUAE) solution. CUAE is a development and runtime platform based on the Microsoft .Net framework, designed for creating, deploying and executing converged voice, video and data applications. CUAE also integrates with Cisco Unified Communications Manager. The Trusts will be able to use these new converged applications to improve communications, transform business processes and create a Lone Worker application to improve staff security and safety.
The Trust’s Associate Director of IT, Adam Cooper, commented:
“A concern within the NHS has been the security and protection of their remote workers. The application that ANS Group will be installing for us will enable monitoring of staff on site.
