ANS becomes first Novell partner to be awarded with all five specialisations
Associated Network Solutions Plc ("ANS"), a Novell UK 'Platinum' partner and
partner award winner in 2005, has kick started 2006 by becoming the first
company in the UK to attain all five Novell solution specialisations.
Under the new accreditation scheme, Novell has recognised five specialist
categories by which customers can identify the right partner to solve their
business problems. These specialisations are:
-
Network Services
-
Collaboration
-
Resource Management
-
Linux
-
Identity and Access Management
To be successful, Novell partners must demonstrate a very high level of
technical expertise, coupled with proven implementation skills in complex
customer environments.
Paul Sweeney, Sales Director at ANS, commented:
"This strengthens our competitive advantage in the Novell arena and
demonstrates our leading position in this niche market. ANS will be the first
and preferred partner that organisations come across when searching for Novell
solution providers. The news helps us retain our customer base and encourages
new business in 2006."
The announcement follows a recent agreement with a rapidly expanding
Scottish-based IT consultancy firm, NetworkROI to work together on a number of
projects. Combined with all five technical accreditations, the joint venture
provides ANS with an appealing local presence in a prosperous market. To
highlight their commitment, ANS and NetworkROI will be key sponsors at the
official Novell Scotland Tour in early February.
Scott Fletcher, Managing Director at ANS, said:
"As the new calendar year begins, ANS is more focused on Novell then ever
before. Being awarded all five specialisations highlights our support and
unique understanding of Novell technology. By establishing new relationships
with local IT companies, such as NetworkROI, we continue to broaden our
physical reach to one of our primary markets - Novell enthusiasts."
