ANS ACHIEVE MICROSOFT `GOLD' STATUS AND REACH A UNIQUE POSITION AS A UK SOLUTION PROVIDER

ANS, an independent UK Information Technology solutions provider, has been awarded the highest Microsoft partner accreditation, Gold Status, and is now the only UK solutions provider to hold three of the highest infrastructure certifications; Microsoft `Gold', Novell `Platinum' and IBM `Leader for LINUX'.

To be successful, Microsoft partners must demonstrate a very high level of technical expertise, coupled with proven implementation skills in complex customer environments. ANS is now recognised as an `Active Directory and Identity Management' specialist, two central components of the Microsoft product portfolio, with achieved competencies in `Advanced Infrastructure' and `Networking Infrastructure' solutions.

Paul Sweeney, Managing Director, of ANS commented today:

"WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD A VERY HIGH PROFILE WITHIN THE NOVELL ARENA AND IT CONTINUES TO BE OUR STRONGEST REVENUE STREAM. HOWEVER, AS IT EVOLVES AND COMPUTER NETWORKS BECOME MORE COMPLEX, CUSTOMERS ARE DEMANDING A BROADER RANGE OF TECHNICAL UNDERSTANDING FROM THEIR PARTNERS. HAVING EXPERTISE IN BOTH NOVELL AND MICROSOFT IS CRITICAL IN WORKING WITH THESE CLIENTS. VERY FEW SOLUTION PROVIDERS CAN BOAST THESE SKILLS AND WE ARE CURRENTLY IN A UNIQUE POSITION AS THE ONLY UK PROVIDER TO HOLD ALL THREE."
