Remote Engineering


Rather than sending an engineer to site, with remote access a significant amount of work can be done without the additional expense of hotels & travel, typical types of work that can be carried out include :

  • eDirectory Stuck obituaries
  • eDirectory Replica Rings issues
  • IDM2 / IDM3 / DirXml Config
  • AD issues
  • Health-checks
  • Router Configurations

Finally sometimes it’s easier for us to dial in and “take a look” rather than get your engineers to describe the problem or send screenshots. This also allows your engineers to watch what we do to resolve a problem putting them in a place were they have a good chance of them resolving the issue if it occurs again
